Karl & Deborah Crossman
Karl & Deborah have been ministering with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 1997. They have served in multiple assignments and locations including Papua New Guinea and Kenya. Karl has facilitated Bible translation through his expertise as an avionics specialist, electrician, and communications/alternative power specialist. They currently live in North Carolina in a remote assignment to SIL Anglo-Lusophone Area in Africa as Field Infrastructure Engineer (Power & Communications), assisting Bible translators with their complex communication and power challenges. The Crossmans have four adult children.

Dow works as an international leadership role in YWAM’s University of the Nations, developing new training in the area of Christian Spiritual Formation and Discipleship. He continues to travel to locations such as Tanzania, South Africa, England, and across the USA in order to teach young leaders and missionaries throughout the organization and beyond. Brooke is looking after their youngest (born 2023), but she is also a Certified Nutrition Consultant who enjoys helping people take better care of their diets and overall physical wellness. They currently live in Lindale, Texas, and have four children: Frances, Gordon, Everett, and Alden.

Doug serves as the President and CEO of REI, an organization that sends people to closed countries to build their people both spiritually and practically. Joyce actively assists him in his work.

We thank God for the privilege of being part of this community and to witness the physical and spiritual healing hand of God. He is using my (Robert) skills as a Cardiovascular Perfusionist in amazing ways as I teach and care for patients, and help to build the largest cardiac center in Sub-Saharan Africa. God has called me (Holly) to work in areas of my life that have been my passions for years: teaching, sewing, and spending time with kids.
