                         Global Outreach Mission

  Praise for their 49 years with Canadian Sunday School Mission ministering to children

  through camps, rallies, VBS, etc. They now work with Global Outreach Mission.

  Pray for Dale as he deals with the affects of a stroke he suffered in July and begins

  recuperation. Pray for Margaret as she cares for Dale and takes on

  more responsibilities.

 

  Teen Sunday School

   Summer Forum for students in grades 6 – 12 meets at 10:10 AM in the Family Life Center.

           Come learn what FAMA is doing to restore, protect and rehabilitate families threatened

           by poverty and war in Rwanda, DR Congo and Burundi. Everyone invited.

 

  

   Senior Connections

      Plan now to join the Senior Connections at 11:45 AM September 28 in the Family Life

      Center for lunch. Cost: $7. Our speaker will be a Portland Fireman who is a humorist and

      will speak about fire safety. We all could use a good laugh!

Men!

   Are you interested in learning more about the Book of  Revelation? Beginning Monday,

   September 10 from 7—8:15 PM there will be a Men’s Community Bible Study held at First

   Baptist. We will have weekly study questions to discuss in small groups. Come, invite a friend

   and expand your knowledge of the scriptures.

Opportunities to Help

·    Christians, young and old, who would like to experience international missions in their own

    back yard, please contact The Root Cellar at 774-3197.

·   Overly successful gardeners, would you like to share the fruits of your labor? Drop them off in the church foyer (in the large green basket) Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 AM – 12 PM for students who attend English as Second Language (ESL) classes. Thank you.
