We are excited to share with you and your ladies the plans that are now well underway for this year’s CBMNE Women’s Retreat, to be held at Monadnock Bible Conference Center in Jaffrey, NH! It is our prayer that you will set this time aside now on your calendar and plan to join us for a weekend of relaxation, refreshment and rejuvenation! Back “by your popular demand”, our 2012 Retreat Speaker will be Bonnie Merrill. “Our Lord is the ultimate artist. He took an angry little girl from the projects outside Washington, DC, a victim of alcoholism, poverty and abandonment, and transformed her into the woman she is today. Bonnie has a deep passion for her Savior, and for teaching women about Him. She is a survivor, a conqueror, and, above all, a child of God.”1 You will be blessed as she teaches directly from God’s Word all that it means for each of us to be “Clothed With Christ”. Our 2012 Missions Speaker will be Peggy Owen. Peggy was with us in 2008 and she will be returning to update us on all that the Lord has been doing through their ministry with WorldVenture in Taiwan. The cost for this year’s retreat is $125.00, which includes all five meals and accommodations for two nights. Alternative lodging is also available at an added expense. Anyone interested in this option will need to make her own reservations and is encouraged to contact us for further details. A number of optional activities are planned during free time on Saturday afternoon: workshops [one with Shauna Amick (Director of Joni & Friends); one on Marriage/Families; one with Robin Walls - topic to be announced]; crafts; open prayer time; lawn and/or table games; swimming, ping pong, hiking, etc. We also look forward to our Oasis of Sharing on Saturday evening as well as inspirational worship throughout the weekend! Again, please share all of this news with your ladies, and encourage them to prayerfully consider attending what is sure to be a weekend to remember! The more women who register by the deadline, the greater our chances will be of not having to share the facility. Two or three additional women per church/church group are all that will be needed to make this happen!
