We Encourage Family Worship.  Part of our Mission Statement describes worship as the purpose of this church.

The Children’s Channel is Children’s Ministries at FBC
 
The Children’s Channel is a place for children ages infant to 6th grade to learn more about Jesus.
 
We pray that all children will come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and desire to grow up to be His disciple. We offer many programs at First Baptist Church to support parents in this goal. 
 
We are called to supplement the family in their attempt to reach spiritual truths that, in God’s timing, will lead a child into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and follow Him to be His disciple.     (1 John 2:3-6; 1 Peter 1:13-15)
 
Our Values:
 
--We are child targeted in our approach. (1 Cor. 9:22)
 
--We value relevant teachings that is application oriented to reach today’s children. (Psalm 119:11)  
 
--The Children’s Channel is a safe place for children. (Mark 10:13)
 
--We strive to teach the Bible creatively in order to reach today’s children.  (2 Timothy 3:15-17)   
 
--We value intentional shepherding through small groups where we can model an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 2:2)       
        
At The Children’s Channel, we want all children to feel loved and cared for in the programs we offer.
 
Our prayer is that all children will come to know Jesus at an early age and choose to live for Him.
 
Children’s Ministries are offered and run by trained volunteer staff.
